King's Church Picnic - Sunday 11th July
The weather held, and a wonderful afternoon was enjoyed by those who attended. Footballs, cricket balls, frisbees, and kites rolled, bounced, floated, and flew around the picnic site. It was a special time of fellowship, and many new friendships blossomed. We look forward to nect year's picnic in the park.

![]() | King's Treasure Hunt - Saturday 24th July
Dave and Claire Catley issued all the contestants with a devilishly cryptic set of clues, and after much discussion and contemplation by the teams in their vehicles, cars were seen rushing off to all points of the compass. The treasure hunt covered the villages around Grimsby and the contestants saw parts of the area never seen before. The final clue led us to Conisholme, where a picnic was enjoyed by all. Congratulations to Craig (Lewis Hamilton) who arrived at the finish before the organisers. |

King's Snooker Tournament & BBQ - Saturday 14th August
The weather favoured us and a wonderful BBQ was enjoyed by all. More food was brought than was able to be cooked and eaten. The adults partook in good fellowship and snooker that ranged from fair to fine, with Matt ultimately being crowned Thoresby Lodge snooker champ. The children had full run of the garden and much fun was to be had in the treehouse - the zip-slide and swings were put to good use. We envisage that this will turn out to be an annual event, such was the amount of positive feedback received. Thanks to all who assisted in making this a memorable day. |
